Platelets contain growth factors and other cell signaling proteins which aid in the healing and repair of tissues. These growth factors include PDGF (platelet derived), TGF (transforming), VEGF (vascular endothelial), FGF (fibroblast), and EGF (epithelial).

PRP is obtained via blood draw then processed through centrifugation using a specialized system. After processing, you inject the PRP into injured tissues which may be arthritic joints, ligaments, tendons, or other tissues.

During this webinar participants will learn:

Mode of action and clinical applications for PRP.

Differences between PRP systems with evidence from controlled studies.

Benefits to the patient and the owner of using this system.

The financial case for the use of PRP, with real UK examples.

This FREE WEBINAR is brought to you by Companion Animal Health in association with Webinar Club

       Register Now

  When?

  Can’t make the live event?

No problem!

You can still register for the webinar and we’ll let you know when the recording is available.

  Meet the Presenters…

Dr John Mather MA VetMB PGCertSAS MRCVS Director, Greenbay Vets Ltd

John qualified from Cambridge University in 2008, and worked exclusively with pet animals since.
