David is Director and Head of the Ophthalmology Service at Davies Veterinary Specialists. David has been Chief Examiner and Chair of the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmology Examination Committee and a member of the UK BVA/KC/ISDS Hereditary Eye Scheme and of its Working Party. He is also eye examiner for the UK Guide Dogs, an Editorial Board member for Veterinary Ophthalmology, the Journal of Feline Medicine & Surgery, and the Journal of Small Animal Practice.
He was co-editor of the latest edition of the BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Ophthalmology, published in 2014. David lectures extensively on veterinary ophthalmology both nationally and internationally.
