“Neus graduated from The Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2009, and then completed a rotating internship at the same university before working as an out of hours veterinary surgeon in a referral hospital for a year, also in Barcelona.
On moving to the UK, Neus then worked in a first opinion practice in Liverpool for two years, during that time she obtained her ECC Advanced Practitioner status. Following this, she began an Emergency and Critical Care internship at the Vets Now 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Glasgow, and in January 2017, Neus began her residency in Emergency and Critical care with the ECC team in the same hospital in Glasgow.
Neus completed her residency in January 2020 and passed her board exams becoming a European Diplomate of Emergency and Critical Care in September 2020. Since then, she has continued to work in the same hospital as a co-lead of the ECC department, where she is a residency supervisor and develops her clinical and research work.”
