Scott Rutherford graduated from Glasgow University in 2001. Scott then spent six years in general practice before moving to Croft Veterinary Hospital in Northumberland in 2007 to complete his RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Surgery which he obtained in 2009.
He then completed an ECVS residency in Small Animal Surgery in 2012. Scott became a European Specialist in Small Animal Surgery in 2013 and soon afterwards moved to North Downs Specialist Referrals in Surrey.
Scott’s main interests lie in fracture management and joint surgery especially joint replacement.
Good refresher course for me. Good coverage of basics of orthopaedic exam and diagnosis and management of common orthopaedic conditions. I do not do orthopaedic surgery (and have no desire to!) but this course helped me to assess, diagnose and decide on appropriate treatment in first opinion cases.
