Gareth Arthurs is experienced in all aspects of small animal orthopaedic surgery; he has been a recognised specialist since 2007, and has been working as an orthopaedic surgeon since 2000. Gareth has a wide range of experience, having worked at a number of specialist centres in the UK, including Cambridge University Veterinary School, Willows Referral Service and the Royal Veterinary College, where he was Head of Orthopaedics and Head of Surgery.
He has spent several years teaching small animal orthopaedics to students and residents (trainee surgeons). Gareth has lectured and published widely. He is currently Junior Vice-Chairman of the British Veterinary Orthopaedic Association, reviews manuscripts for a number of international journals, and is an examiner for the RCVS Diploma in Small Animal Surgery (Orthopaedics).
