Clare Wilson

MA VetMB CCAB MRCVS PGDipCABC

Clare qualified as a vet from Cambridge in 2001 and worked in mixed practice in the Welsh borders and then in Warwickshire.  She graduated from Southampton University in 2006 with a postgraduate diploma in companion animal behaviour counselling.  After working for Sarah Heath’s behaviour referral practice in Chester for a year she set up her own behaviour referral service in Warwickshire.

Clare is an ASAB Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist, member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) and an ABTC Registered Veterinary Behaviourist.  She continues to work part time in general practice, see behaviour referrals, write articles/leaflets and give lectures. Clare is also involved within the political arena of the behaviour profession, sitting on both the ASAB Accreditation and APBC committees and being involved with the development of National Occupational Standards for behaviour and training and regulation of the profession through the Animal Behaviour and Training Council.
