Neus graduated from the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona in 2009, and then completed a rotating internship at the same University before working in a referral hospital as an out of hours veterinary surgeon for a year in Barcelona.
On moving to the UK in 2013, Neus worked in a first opinion practice in Liverpool for two years before beginning an Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) specialist internship at the Vets Now 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Glasgow. In January 2017, Neus began her residency in the same hospital; which she completed in January 2020. Neus sat and passed her board exams becoming a European Diplomate in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in September 2020 and continues to work in Glasgow as a referral clinician in ECC, where she is the co-lead of the department and mentors both interns and residents.
Her interests include the treatment of critically ill patients, the approach to polytraumatised patients, the treatment of patients with coagulopathies, as well as transfusion medicine.
